I am extremely interested in museums and their legal and professional responsibilities. I come from a background of art history and museum registration, which is the area that my posts often start from. This blog is a place for me to discuss museum and art concerns, especially those with a legal slant, as well as my ongoing journey through my education.
No, I'm not a raving egomaniac. The name comes from a t-shirt my mom once bought me, which stated "The truly educated never graduate." At the time, it was a joke. I was a fifth-year (aka super-senior) at Douglass College, having changed my major from psychology to art history just about as late in the game as you can. Since then, I've completed a post-BA certificate in art history at Studio Art Centers International, and an MA in museum professions at Seton Hall University. In fall 2008, I began work towards my JD at DePaul University College of Law.
Yes, I may graduate ever few years, but I have yet to complete my education. Another school, another adventure.
So, why a blog? Yeah, there are tons out there, and I doubt this will add much to the electronic clutter of the internet, but it gives me something to do and a place to talk about the topics I find interesting. Any visitors out there: I hope you enjoy.
